Timid, people-pleasing girl × sharp-tongued, cocky guy
-
Kuang Ye is a celebrity at school, known for his sharp tongue and bad temper. Even Director Li, who's always been domineering, was so thoroughly put in his place that he didn't dare come to work.
Some people mock him for acting cocky only because he comes from a good family. Others secretly admire his courage.
Chi Mian is one of them.
When Director Li got handsy with her, Kuang Ye reported him to the academic affairs office.
She's timid and weak, only daring to secretly spy on Kuang Ye like a rat lurking in the dark.
Until one day, the two of them switch bodies.
-
Chi Mian goes to school in Kuang Ye's body.
Someone greets her, and she instinctively smiles warmly.
The other person freezes on the spot, then finally manages to say, “Kuang Ye, did you take the wrong medicine today? That smile is disgusting.”
Chi Mian: “...”
She forgot: the owner of this body doesn't smile.
Meanwhile, Kuang Ye is in Chi Mian's body.
A girl deliberately bumps into her backpack in the hallway and hides her textbooks.
He glances down at the girl causing trouble, stays silent for three seconds, then sweeps her pencil case and textbooks off her desk and onto the floor.
“What are you doing?!”
Kuang Ye, in Chi Mian's face, raises his chin expressionlessly. “Try laying a finger on me. I'll hit you back ten times.”
The whole class falls silent.
-
Chi Mian never imagined that a cocky, outstanding boy like Kuang Ye would confess to her beneath a sky full of fireworks.
The riverbank is packed with people. He grabs her by the collar, closes his eyes, and leans in to kiss her.
Chi Mian panics and tries to push him away, her movements soft and hesitant. “Th-this isn't the place.”
Kuang Ye frowns, anger simmering in his voice. “You're so noisy. Shut up and let me kiss you.”
His tone is still just as fierce, but Chi Mian thinks the kiss that lands is impossibly gentle.

Reader's note:
The male lead's fierce demeanor is part of his charm, but it might also be a dealbreaker for you.
When the male lead kisses the female lead in the story, he doesn't grab her by the collar. That's just to show his character in the blurb.
The male lead swears twice, but the author censors it with “xxx.”
Both leads are each other's first and only love, and it's a happy ending.
