This guide was jointly written by the Medical Department and the Engineering Department, with Doctor Kal'tsit's approval. It is intended to help you maintain a stable work and living routine and ensure the overall safety of Rhodes Island. Please read, understand, and follow each rule carefully. Your cooperation is essential.

Please note:

This is a single-ship fic by an amateur author. The idea came to me while I was starting another fic next door and suddenly wanted to write an abstract, fun-loving protagonist. It's a secret identity + cat-petting (snuggling cute animals) story.

The secret identities don't use the typical setup, and there is a transmigration element that can be pretty sanity-breaking (intentionally so). For the best reading experience, please adjust your expectations accordingly.

Primarily CB (though close to CP). Because of the author's personal preferences, the romance is mainly GL/BL (that is, female Operators are paired with female secret identities, and male Operators with male secret identities. Otherwise, the corresponding secret identity's relationship with them will be platonic). Also, this fic's Doctor is male. There will be mildly explicit romantic content, pseudo-selfcest, and a mix of R-rated and pure-love elements, among other things.

The blurb has already covered the warnings, and there will be a second warning in the main text. Please think carefully about whether you want to read it.

The protagonist is an "inhumanly awful, abstract fun-seeker." After he "transmigrates from being human to becoming a Teekaz, his perception goes awry." He is a "Rhodes Island patient and ordinary employee Operator." His ability is "Whispers (Note: The user inhabits someone else and uses their voice to plant suggestions. When the host denies or avoids a part of themselves, that denied or avoided aspect is born separately as a manifestation. If that's hard to understand, just think of it as Black Snake Plus + an FGO-style dissociative Servant from next door. It's the protagonist's skill for creating secret identities)."

There is a major secret identity, codename "Noctiluca," who is a male Operator recruited by Rhodes Island. Due to space constraints, the details are omitted here.

Told from the protagonist's perspective, this is a mystery, romance (?) story about "Noctiluca, a Rhodes Island Operator who is also a severely mentally ill patient, working for Rhodes Island in exchange for medical resources. But as he settles into life and work at Rhodes Island, he discovers that every Operator he meets here wants to kill him."

Since the original idea was to write an abstract fun-seeker protagonist, sanity-breaking descriptions in the main text are to be expected (...aren't they?).

But I haven't read Lovecraft, so it definitely won't be that sanity-breaking. Just a heads-up. Don't worry when you read it.

Rather idealized. The wish-fulfillment comes from the ability setup + morally chaotic romance. And by morally chaotic, I mean truly chaotic. The protagonist is not a good person. The characters' values do not represent the author's values. This is essentially a work of entertainment fanfiction, so please don't extrapolate or start a debate about it.
