Ihei Moning had gotten herself into a serious mess.

In the middle of the night, she was followed by a man carrying a sword! The man seemed to be the Ripper, a serial killer who had been killing people lately, so Ihei Moning immediately started a voice call in the group chat.

"Do you know the Ripper?"

"Obviously. Who hasn't heard of such a famous killer... Wait, did you run into him?" her curly-haired childhood friend asked.

"Are you in trouble right now?" her long-haired childhood friend asked.

"Quite a bit." Ihei Moning looked up.

The police officer questioning her stared. Outside, an ambulance was getting closer. A man being carried away, writhing in pain, was shouting that he'd make sure she went to jail.

"I sent someone to the hospital."

"I'm at the police station. Come bail me out."

Matsuda Jinpei had gotten himself into a serious mess.

He'd graduated from high school and still lost to a blond! Now he was locked in a room with him. Matsuda Jinpei's face was as red as the blond's complexion was dark, and he couldn't take it anymore, so he started a video call in the group chat.

"Do you know those rooms where you can only get out by doing xx?"

"Go on," one childhood friend said, fishing for details.

"Little Jinpei, I didn't know you were into that sort of thing. Send me the link," another childhood friend said, asking for a treat.

"Could you focus on the people trapped here for once?" Matsuda Jinpei said, burning with embarrassment.

He was trapped in a room full of mechanisms with a blond named Furuya Rei. They'd solved the puzzle, but to get out, they had to hold hands and shout, "We are allies of justice!" Who would say something that childish out loud?

"Just touching isn't enough to get us out."

"There's no time. Hurry up and come get me."

Hagiwara Kenji had gotten himself into... a mess with two childhood friends who were always getting into trouble.

Hagiwara Kenji had been caught up in a cruise ship full of bombs. After he'd finished defusing them, a satellite phone call came in asking him to come get someone.

"Do you know the Bering Sea?"

"You... chased Muzan all the way to the Bering Strait?" Hagiwara Kenji ventured.

Based on what he knew about the two, Hagiwara Kenji thought that was a bold enough guess. Even so, he'd been too conservative.

"Muzan escaped into the Arctic Ocean."

"It's freezing. Come get us before we freeze to death."
