An outrageously cute cat lord shou x the undead gong he picked up off the street

Blurb:

The black cat raised by the empress of the Atia Empire turned into a human. To keep it under wraps, the empress announced that Xia Zuo was her child who had been lost long ago, then granted him a duke's title and a vast tract of land.

And so, the cat Xia Zuo became a great lord. As he patrolled his territory, he would sometimes bring home dark elves who had been bullied, a mermaid from the Siren tribe with a damaged tail, a fallen angel who was losing feathers, or a young fire dragon cast out by its clan.

As word spread that a lord in these parts took in dark creatures, people began to think he was downright terrifying to have so many of them at his command.

One day, while patrolling his territory as usual, the cat lord found a pile of bones by the boundary of his estate. He carried them back in his mouth and assembled them into an undead. The undead, whose name was Soren, had a faint, eerie fire glowing in his eyes and said Xia Zuo had saved his life.

Xia Zuo: I'm a cat.

Soren corrected himself: My cat savior.

Soren could do just about anything, and he was remarkably capable. When Xia Zuo had to attend a banquet as a human and wasn't sure what to do, Soren always had just the right advice.

What's more, his human etiquette was flawless!

Xia Zuo said, "Why don't you become my butler?"

Soren thought it over, then replied, "Of course, master."

And so, the cat lord got an undead butler. People often saw the cat sprawled lazily in the undead's hands, basking in the sun.

The other dark creatures watching, who knew nothing about human etiquette, thought: How devious he is.

Who wouldn't want a cute cat sprawled on them?
