A modern Western fantasy setting, with phones and computers
Pure-hearted college guy bottom × secretly smoldering silver dragon top
A new student arrived at Fitt University, the finest magic academy in the world. He had rare black hair and black eyes, and was said to be studying alchemy. He was assigned to the isolated faculty residence closest to North Mountain.
Everyone knew the residents of that building were terrifying.
As a scholarship student, Xiao Fanzhou had only one request for his housing: a large plot of land where he could clear the ground and grow crops. The dean hesitated. “Are you sure? We have a place that fits your requirements, but a specially appointed professor lives there. He might be difficult to get along with.”
Xiao Fanzhou was optimistic. “I’m sure.”
That evening, the dean came to see him. “Can you cook? The professor says he won’t object if you can cook.”
Xiao Fanzhou thumped his chest. “I can.”
The next day, Xiao Fanzhou received notice that his dorm assignment had been changed. When he arrived with his suitcase at the shabby little villa, a handsome man with disheveled hair emerged and squinted at him.
Xiao Fanzhou was a little nervous, but held out his hand first. “Hello.”
The man’s expression was blank, but he reached out and shook his hand. “Hello.”
That evening, Xiao Fanzhou tried to cook and blew up half the kitchen.
The man said, “...Didn’t you say you could cook?”
Xiao Fanzhou stammered, “I-I thought I just had to follow the recipe. How about you have some fruit to tide you over?”
The man said nothing.
He picked up a piece of fruit and chewed it, expressionless.
It was delicious.
He wanted another.
After clearing out Xiao Fanzhou’s fruit stash, the man said cheerfully, “You can keep living here.”
And that was how they became roommates.
Xiao Fanzhou learned that the man, Zephyr, was a professor of ancient creature magic. He seemed to have plenty of free time and would wander around whenever he felt like it. He had a very young-looking body, but with his hands clasped behind his back, he looked like a man in his seventies or eighties.
No wonder he taught ancient creature magic, Xiao Fanzhou thought. He really did have an old-fashioned air about him.
A self-proclaimed model youth who respected his elders and cared for the young, Xiao Fanzhou looked after his roommate. His roommate was kind too. He brought him birthday presents and cooked for him, though that was because Xiao Fanzhou kept blowing up the kitchen.
But for some reason, everyone who found out who his roommate was gave him a strange look.
His teacher told him, “If you’re ever mistreated there, tell me. We’ll leave immediately.”
His friend said, “Why don’t you switch dorms?”
Xiao Fanzhou was puzzled. “Why? Mr. Zephyr is a very nice person.”
No one could answer him.
Xiao Fanzhou was busy every day: studying, clearing land and growing vegetables, cultivating new plants, feeding the seemingly idle Mr. Zephyr after he quit his job, and saving up to buy him a return gift.
Gradually, Zephyr began looking at him in a more and more peculiar way.
Xiao Fanzhou only found out much later that his roommate was a silver dragon. “Wait, what?”
But by then, it was too late. The silver dragon had pinned him down in a cavern full of treasures.
Zephyr the silver dragon was going to have a thorough discussion with this human who was always teasing him about the differences between human and dragon anatomy.
Reader notes:
1. One-on-one romance, both leads have only ever been with each other
2. A sweet little romance
3. This shares a setting with The Gods’ Favor, set a very long time later. You can enjoy it without having read that story.
4. Please don’t offer writing advice. If you drop the story, no need to tell me. I hope everyone finds a story they love.
P.S. The silver dragon has lived for a long time and was only recently dragged out to work as a professor. No one signed up for his classes because they were so boring, so after teaching for two years, he quit in a fit of pique. They are no longer in a teacher-student relationship by the time they get together.

Don’t Talk to Aliens
Human office worker who seems straight bottom × kind alien who’s very much into men top
Synopsis:
Zhao Xianyu was a recently hired office worker. One day, on his way home from work on the subway, he saw an influencer post claiming that aliens had recently been spotted and that people shouldn’t talk to them if they encountered one.
Zhao “Ordinary Guy” Xianyu: Me?
Had the world gone crazy, or had he?
When he got home, he found a new neighbor had moved in nearby.
The new neighbor was tall and handsome, with a polite smile. “Hello, my name is Meng Guangnian. I hope we’ll get along.”
“Hello.” Zhao Xianyu had never met such a friendly neighbor in this cold, indifferent metropolis.
Meng Guangnian seemed unfamiliar with the area. He added Zhao Xianyu on WeChat, and they grew closer day by day.
In the morning, Meng Guangnian happened to be heading out when Zhao Xianyu left, so they went to get breakfast together. At night, when Zhao Xianyu got home from work, Meng Guangnian would have a late-night snack with him.
When Zhao Xianyu got food poisoning from a mushroom hot pot, Meng Guangnian even cured him on the spot.
Zhao Xianyu shakily gave him a thumbs-up and asked, “So, what do you do, man?”
Meng Guangnian gave him another practiced smile. “My family has a few secret remedies.”
Zhao Xianyu: “That’s awesome.”
Little by little, they became good friends. They ate together and watched movies, and when they got sleepy, they curled up together and fell asleep.
Their relationship gradually changed, becoming more than friendship.
But then, for a while, Meng Guangnian started acting hot and cold toward him.
Zhao Xianyu: Huh, is he keeping me on the hook? Interesting.
He took his key and opened Meng Guangnian’s door. Then he froze.
Tentacles were growing everywhere in Meng Guangnian’s home, and a round, rolling eye sat at their center.
“Ah Yu.” A familiar voice came from the tentacles. “What brings you here?”
*
Meng Guangnian was a shape-shifting species from the Zeta system. He had come to Earth as a special observer for the Star Alliance, studying the development of human civilization and the evolution of species before sending his data back to the Alliance.
In his first month on Earth, he met a human who looked delicious.
He made this human one of his subjects of observation. They became friends, but their relationship seemed to have gone beyond that.
This human youth named Zhao Xianyu made his bioelectric currents surge. In the language of his species, this was called falling in love.
He returned to his nest to get through his once-every-three-years molting period and, while he was at it, planned to apply to the Star Alliance for permission to marry.
But the human youth he’d been flirting with broke into his nest.
“Are you... Meng Guangnian?” The human’s voice trembled. Meng Guangnian felt a pang of concern, but his tentacles quietly wrapped around the human’s ankles.
“Yes,” the alien creature said. “Ah Yu, did you come to keep me company?”
