A Scandal After Too Much to Drink

The person Yao Letong hates most is Lu Yanming, the "neighbor's kid" her mother always uses as an example to lecture her.

Before he even graduated from college, he founded his own company. He's a widely recognized young star in the industry, courted by major corporations eager to invest in him.

He's been outstanding his whole life: handsome, brilliant at school, and a quick learner who makes everything look effortless.

His excellence always makes her feel like a complete failure.

She can't stand him.

One day, at a party, Yao Letong gets drunk. Lu Yanming carries her home and bends down to lay her on the bed. He is about to straighten up when he freezes.

Letong has wrapped her arms around his neck, gazing at him with bleary eyes.

Lu Yanming raises an eyebrow. "Aren't you going to let go?"

A nameless anger rises in Yao Letong. "You think I'll let go just because you tell me to?"

Her delicate brows knit as she finds him more and more irritating.

He's always so cool and composed, never putting a foot wrong, never losing his calm.

She really wants to see what he'd look like flustered.

The next moment, she suddenly sits up and kisses him.

It's a clumsy kiss. When she pulls away, she finds that he's still perfectly composed. She's the one who's flustered, her cheeks flushed as she lies back, breathing unevenly.

Lu Yanming leans down and tips up her chin, his thumb brushing her moist lower lip. "That's it?"

He moves in close, then murmurs by her ear, "That hardly counts as a kiss. Want me to teach you?"

She regrets it that night. She shouldn't have provoked him.
