Tangled in Passion

As the heir to a wealthy family, Shen Qichi, the eldest young master of the Shen family, was refined and elegant. With his strikingly good looks, countless women wanted to get close to him, but none had ever managed to. Everyone said that Young Master Shen was cold and had no interest in women. That is, until one day, someone saw him corner Su Nian, a little-known actress, against a wall. With lazy, beguiling charm, he asked, "Want to come home with me?" * Knowing full well that this was just two adults getting what they wanted from each other, Su Nian still fell for him. She thought that if she gave him her whole heart, he would eventually love her. Instead, all she got was a rumor linking him to a top actress. During an interview promoting her show, a reporter asked Su Nian what she thought of Shen Qichi's latest rumor. Without a trace of expression, she replied, "I have no opinion. I'm tired of him. Whoever wants him can have him." After the interview, she returned backstage, where Shen Qichi came straight toward her. "I wanted to surprise you. I didn't expect you to surprise me instead." He bent down and kissed her, bold and fierce. He watched her expression and sneered, "Is this what you call being tired of me?" Su Nian shoved him away, straightened her clothes, and walked off. Watching her leave, Shen Qichi warned, "If you walk out, don't expect to come back." * Later, Su Nian attended a banquet with a wildly popular award-winning actor. A handsome man and a beautiful woman, they looked like a perfect match and drew everyone's attention. In a corner, Shen Qichi rolled a cigarette between his fingers and watched coldly. When it burned out, he stood and walked over to Su Nian, forcefully pulling her into his arms. Pressing his lips to her ear, he said in a husky voice, "Had enough fun? If you have, come back to me." The face-slapping came so fast, it was like a tornado.
