At eighteen, Yao Jiu lands a job as an ordinary information investigator at the Special Affairs Bureau. But when she returns home, all that awaits her is a farewell letter from her mother, Yao Jin.
Yao Jiu is convinced that a Heavenly Power user must have abducted her mother.
She explains everything to the police, but they refuse to file a report.
She turns to the Special Affairs Bureau for help, only for two special agents to laugh and tell her she's hallucinating.
With nowhere else to turn, Yao Jiu buys information from the Windcloud Pavilion and puts out a bounty for Yao Jin through the Heroic Gathering.
After a long day, Yao Jiu returns home. Having sold the house, she starts packing again.
But a crystal unexpectedly awakens her Heavenly Power and grants her a so-called System.
She is on the verge of turning eighteen.
And it happens just after Yao Jin's disappearance.
A thread of the mystery reveals itself to Yao Jiu.
Naturally, she grabs hold and follows it until she unravels the truth!
