About Jiang Lai: she is a twenty-three-year-old human being.
Her grandmother is called Jiang Yuling; her aunt is called Jiang Weiyan; her younger sister is called Jiang Ziqian; her mother is called Jiang Yangzhen.
She lived in Fangcheng as a child, then moved to Jiangcheng with her mother when she grew up.
She likes eating fish. As a child, she liked drawing; as an adult, she likes writing. She once ran away from home, then came back, if you can call that running away.
She took the graduate school entrance exam twice and failed both times.
She is introverted, easygoing, and stubborn.
She works hard, feels disappointed, feels sad, and feels happy.
How much can we know about Jiang Lai?
Before You Read:
1. Each chapter has three to five sections. Different chapters may feature intersecting perspectives, shifts in time and place, and changes in narrative person.
2. The story mainly follows the Jiang family: grandmother Jiang Yuling, aunt Jiang Weiyan, younger sister Jiang Ziqian (her aunt's daughter), mother Jiang Yangzhen (her mother and aunt are twins), and Jiang Lai.
3. Fragmented emotional expression, a weak central plot, fictional characters and events, an incoherent storyline, a mix of narration and commentary, and sections of a story within a story.
4. This story mainly follows Jiang Lai's growth and life experiences while preparing for the graduate school entrance exam (I just made it all up x).
5. A casual writing exercise, so I'll leave out another hundred words and so on.
6. Placeholder. This used to be another upcoming story (now abandoned).
