First Love, Restarted After Three Trips to Jail

They knew each other for eight years, had a seven-minute first love, spent six years apart, missed each other five times, exchanged four keepsakes, reunited three times, were in love for two weeks, and then held hands for a lifetime. A super-sweet romance with one devoted couple and a happy ending.

What happens when the God of Matchmaking is flat broke?

Reporter: What do you think about all three of your best friends getting into trouble with the police in the same week?

Ning Yucheng: "What do I think? I think I should hurry up and pray to the God of Matchmaking."

Reporter: "The God of Matchmaking... has anything to do with that?"

Ning Yucheng: "Of course not. But every time I’ve been called to the police station this week, I’ve happened to run into my ex-boyfriend, the one who ‘wears a hat.’"

"I just don’t get it. Hangzhou is such a big city. How did all three of my best friends manage to have something go wrong in the very same week, and how did I manage to run into the same guy at three different police stations?"

"I’m afraid if I don’t go burn a couple of incense sticks and get on the right side of things, that broke God of Matchmaking will send me straight to jail!"

God of Matchmaking: Sorry, business is bad these days. I know the difference between a meal that fills me up once and meals that keep me full every day.
