Where Did You Buy This Fox?

[Daily updates. An absurd comedy: self-proclaimed CEO gong x carefree fox shou. They talk past each other like they're on different channels. The CEO has a "be the other man for love" plotline, due to a misunderstanding.]

Li Qian is a fox spirit who recently entered human society. By a twist of fate, he spends a night with a human stranger, and a few months later discovers he's carrying a baby.

Li Qian accepts his fate and becomes a single mother. From then on, he has to use a lint roller to get fox fur off himself every time he goes out.

Until a year later, when Li Qian is shocked to realize that his new company's boss seems to be the baby's father.

Later, Qi Chen visits Li Qian at home. Seeing a fluffy little thing peeking at him through a crack in the door, he casually points and asks, "Where did you buy this fox?"

Reading Guide: 1. A lighthearted melodrama. I'll do my best to make it funny. If it isn't, I've failed.

2. The shou is a fox spirit, and the baby stays in fox form throughout the story. It's said to be about raising a child, but it's basically raising a pet. The gong isn't human either, though the shou doesn't know that at first.

3. The gong is absent for a while during the first pregnancy, popping back in at random intervals. This lasts around tens of thousands of words. There will be a second child.

4. I want to write a story where the baby calls the shou "Mom," so that's what the baby will call him here.

Theme: Protecting animals is everyone's responsibility
