My Younger Brother Is Hou Yi

Cheng Qi transmigrates into the primordial world. In his first year after transmigrating, he is full of ambition, hoping to join the Zixiao Palace and become Senior Brother to Nuwa.

But the heavens are crowded with gods and demons, and countless races stand side by side. Humanity is the weakest of them all.

In his second year, Cheng Qi still can't even make it out of his village. He gives in to reality and stays put, not looking for trouble. Every day, he just hopes some kindhearted demon will take him as a disciple.

In the tenth year, a mosquito finds his blood delicious, pens him up as a pet, and Cheng Qi cries out, "As long as I stay alive, that's enough." That same day, his mother gives birth to a younger brother before she dies. They name him Yi.

Cheng Qi struggles to raise his little brother Yi until he is ten, then suddenly realizes that his brother is a heaven-defying protagonist: born with incredible strength and constantly stumbling upon lucky opportunities. At ten years old, the boy can already protect Cheng Qi and their tribe. He's Cheng Qi's pride.

But five years later, Yi comes home with a bow capable of slaying gods and says he likes a girl named A Heng.

Only then does Cheng Qi realize his brother is the hero of the myth about Hou Yi shooting down the suns and Chang'e flying to the moon. In the future, his brother will become a hero of the world and shoot down the nine princes of the Heavenly Court.

Cheng Qi decides to venture out again in middle age. He can't just wait to die. He has to protect himself and his only younger brother.
