[The King's Avatar] Ghosts!

Zhou Er is a succubus born and raised in City X. She isn’t the kind of corrupted succubus you’d find in certain comics. She’s simply a succubus who feeds on human emotions. Human food tastes like sawdust to her. Emotions of all kinds are her favorite delicacies, and fear is the flavor she likes best. Living among people, Zhou Er never has to worry about food or clothes, but an invisible barrier always separates her from everyone else. She doesn’t understand emotions. Her parents left her to fend for herself from the moment she was born. Every day, she did little more than forage among the crowds and sleep, drifting through life like a walking corpse. Later, Zhou Er met the retired Wei Chen and became interested in esports because of him. As she happened to have a talent for it, she was sent to the local Void training camp. Wei Chen: “Xingzai, you’ve made your pro debut, so why are you still such a weirdo? It’s only because your Uncle Wei has a good temper that anyone puts up with you!” Zhou Er, grabbing Li Xuan as he walks by: “He does.” Wei Chen: “Talking back again!” Zhou Er: “It’s true.” Unable to get away from Zhou Er’s freakish grip, Li Xuan could only give Wei Chen an awkward smile. Much later, Zhou Er finally had a home of her own. * A female original character in an all-pairings The King's Avatar fanfic. Readers may self-insert; proceed at your own risk. Since someone criticized me, I’ll clarify what self-insertion means to me: relating to and experiencing a character, not assuming you literally are that character or that the character can only be self-inserted. I mention this in the author’s note for Chapter One, too. Do whatever you like, just respect my work in public. There will be a lot of Li Xuan and Wu Yuce. I’ll write romance routes for as many of the male characters as possible, with separate endings in bonus chapters. There are some fantasy elements. This is my take on succubi; I just want to write a character with a nonhuman personality. The champions have been changed: Void wins Season 7. Theme: Learn to love yourself through the bonds you form.
