People say Yuanlai Inn in Danzhen Town is a genuine black-hearted establishment. Most of the dishes served there are poisonous, so every now and then, a guest gets carried out.
People say you should never set foot in the place. And even if you do, whatever you do, don't order any meat dishes. They're all made from X meat.
Others say the staff are all a bunch of desperadoes. There's a Western Regions swordsman who kills without a second thought;
a ruthless demonic cultivator swordsman whose blade draws blood and leaves no survivors;
a sinister healer who targets guests and subjects them to the inhuman torture of needles and broken bones;
a jade-faced Rakshasa who spits out a sharp sword and kills without a trace;
a beautiful painted-skin ghost who wields twin swords without mercy, smiling and chatting as she cuts down people as easily as chopping vegetables...
Yan Lingxin, the owner of Yuanlai Inn, stamped her foot in anger. “You're the black-hearted one!”
“I was a law-abiding citizen in the 21st century. Even after transmigrating into the Tang Dynasty of the Jian Wang 3 game, I'm still a good citizen who respects the elderly, cares for the young, and pays taxes. How did my inn become a black-hearted establishment? This is pure slander! What a vicious business tactic!”
A Wanhua disciple hid the silver needles he'd just used to stab someone and smiled sweetly. “That's right! We never lay a hand on our guests.”
A Chunyang disciple wiped the blood off his sword. “We never harm our customers, either.”
A Mingjiao disciple put away the twin blades he'd just used to chop meat. “We guarantee our guests' safety.”
A foul-mouthed waiter pulled a curtain over the guest sprawled on the floor, then bowed with a smile. “We provide our guests with attentive service, and nothing more.”
Yan Lingxin chased after them, jabbing at their backs with her twin swords. “What's there to smile about? Another guest ate mushrooms and is seeing little people! Hurry up and save them!”
Reader's Guide:
1. This is a derivative work based on the game Jian Wang 3, and everything follows the game. For example, the protagonists use three types of currency: copper coins, silver, and gold. This world also has plenty of things that didn't exist in the Tang Dynasty.
2. Amid all the jokes and cheeky banter, we found a little bit of plot.
3. The protagonist transmigrates to the early Tianbao era. The main plot is about running an inn and the stories of the martial world that unfold there, and the game's story will be rewritten.
4. The protagonist is that foolish hero from the game who has roamed the martial world for years, yet can still be knocked out with a drug and tricked into working for someone for free. She's no super-smart transmigrator.
Theme: The martial world is vast, but wherever your heart finds peace is home.
It's not free of charge, I'll give you a thumbs up
Leopards, leopards, cats are here 😂 I can't do it anymore 😂
I don't know why the flavor of Wulin Gaiden in this episode is so obvious (although I haven't watched Wulin Gaiden in its entirety, I somehow thought of it 😂
Aren't you hating Hai Qingtian again? By the way, Luo Mei was saved! [Spreading Flowers] Chunyang was a mess in the previous plot, but now she can finally keep some people.
It's well written in big letters, with a warm and everyday feel.
