Naganozawa, Here We Come, Koshien!

[Slowly revising, so ignore any updates you see] [The next story, Five Teacher Will Help You Conquer the Sports World, is now underway. Daily updates guaranteed] How come everyone still doesn't trust Sawamura, even after he went from the number 18 relief pitcher to the number 1 ace? When did playing baseball stop being fun? Desperate, Sawamura was reborn at fifteen. He turned down Seido's special recruitment offer and stayed in Nagano, where he and his friends began their own era of champions. On the first day of school, the Matsuba baseball team discovered that a super-talented first-year had joined them. The team members were thrilled. Great control, and he can throw all kinds of breaking balls? We've struck gold! Maybe we'll make it to Koshien this time! After spending some time with him, they realized this junior was something else. One loud-mouthed pitcher: "Ahahaha! Falcon-senpai, you're so fast! Sloth-senpai, your moves are pretty nimble! That crisp throw! You must be the Devil's Whip!" The team: He talks like a walking megaphone, and he keeps coming up with embarrassing nicknames... My fists are clenching. Then they watched the pitcher send a perfect bunt exactly where he pointed, and felt a warm, sun-like glow fall upon them. They unclenched their fists and put on kindly smiles. This might just be the price of finding a genius. Something big happened at Seido's baseball club. Miyuki and Kuramochi, who had memories of a parallel timeline, discovered that their ace was missing! With the help of the dependable Chris-senpai, they found out that their ace had become someone else's ace! Watching their former ace on TV, holding a ticket to Koshien, the Seido players made up their minds. We'll go to Koshien and see Sawamura! Author's notes: Reborn Sawamura has no memories of his previous life. The main Seido characters gradually regain their memories, while other schools' major characters may regain theirs depending on the situation. [The first seven chapters continue the original story through the Summer Koshien. Nagano Sawamura's story begins in Chapter 8. Skip ahead if you don't like angst.] A group-adored, all-Sawamura story. No character-bashing, and please don't post overly hostile character-bashing comments. Baseball knowledge comes from the original work. I'm watching high school baseball games, but the game descriptions may contain errors, so please bear with me. Reader advisories [Must Read]!! 1. [This is not a pure wish-fulfillment story. Games can be won or lost.] For the sake of the plot, Sawamura and Furuya will have games where they get completely crushed (these chapters will be marked in the titles). Don't read if you can't accept that! 2. This story turns the usual formula on its head: Seido and the others are the ones with extra memories and experience, so they'll be stronger than in the original. Some readers may find this frustrating. But after changing environments, Sawamura will be able to defeat teammates and opponents who are stronger than before, and enter a much wider world. That makes the payoff even greater. I want to see Sawamura like that, so that's how I've set things up. Please think twice before reading if you don't like this premise. 3. There are no villains in sports anime, and I won't portray any original characters negatively. Seido won't be cast as the antagonists, either. The characters have memories because I don't want them to forget Sawamura, and I want them to see a different side of him. (I can't bear to have Jun-san, his big brother, Chris, and the little wolf forget him, either.) 4. About Koshu [Spoilers!] They won't be teammates in high school. Their partnership comes much later. First, Nagano Sawamura is a completely new person, surrounded by happiness, and is entirely unrelated to Seido. Second, choosing a school just to follow one person doesn't fit Koshu's character. In the original story, he chose Seido for many reasons. It wasn't simply because of a pitcher or a catcher. 5. Sawamura's relationship with Seido will grow closer later on. Consider carefully if you don't like that part of the story. 6. The main story follows Nagano Sawamura. There will be a little ensemble-style writing to flesh out the games. 7. There are countless great Ace of Diamond stories out there. If this one isn't for you, feel free to drop it. No need to force yourself, okay? That's all. Hope you enjoy reading~ Please add my upcoming stories to your library~ 1. Inarizaki, Volleyball's Strongest Challenger Synopsis: Some people have the same face as you, but are absolutely detestable. Like Miya Osamu. Miya Atsumu swears he'll beat that bastard one day! Some people were born around the same time as you, but are a huge pain. Like Miya Atsumu. Miya Osamu decides he will never become someone like Atsumu. He'll treat people kindly. But on the very first day Osamu decides to be kind, Atsumu steals the instant noodles he'd hidden away and shamelessly refuses to admit it, driving him up the wall. That day, laughter from the spectators rang out around the volleyball club's gym. "The volleyball club's signature act: the Miya twins are at it again! I'll bet fifty cents that Atsumu loses!" From everyone's laughter, Atsumu felt just how cold people could be. But what chilled him even more was the day he found a folder on Suna's phone called "Foxes Scratching an Itch." When he opened it, he found nearly ten gigabytes of videos and pictures of him and Osamu beating each other up! Faced with outside enemies, the Miya twins finally joined forces. A happy ending indeed. Miya Atsumu, known throughout high school as the strongest challenger, had no idea that fate had already put a price tag on its gifts. He joined the Black Jackals with a heart full of love for volleyball, where he met Bokuto and Sakusa... Bokuto: "Hey! Hey! Hey! Osa-chan, I'm in amazing form today, too!" Sakusa: "Please stay away from me. You're covered in germs." Miya Atsumu, now at the bottom of the food chain (wilted edition): "Akaashi really is someone worthy of respect... Why did I come here again?" Fortunately, fate was still a little kind to Atsumu. It sent Hinata! But... "Tobio-chan, could you please stay away from my ace?" Theme: Rediscover the passion and joy of a young summer.
