At a seminar about girls' comics, my friend and I discussed the topic of having a secret crush.
Speaker No. 1 was my friend. She said she had never experienced having a secret crush. Her relationships always began when her boyfriend confessed first, and once she realized she liked him, they started dating right away.
Speaker No. 2 was my friend's coworker. He said he had never had a secret crush either. Although he was now a successful girls' comic artist, he actually had zero experience with either crushes or relationships.
Speaker No. 3 was my friend's coworker's classmate. She said she was currently in the throes of a wonderful secret crush. Her crush hadn't realized how she felt, but she had successfully gotten by his side, and she was sure things would work out beautifully before long.
When it was my turn to speak, I paused for a moment.
The person I have a crush on is my boss. He looks fierce, is cold and strict at work, and even likes to use violence to solve problems. He's a sadistic dominant, but I still have romantic feelings for him.
My friend seemed to freeze up when she heard that. She asked me stiffly, "He must have some amazing qualities for you to like him, right?"
I thought about it. Though everyone else might hear the things I listed as flaws, they didn't seem like a big deal to me. Besides, he loves small animals, cooks for himself, and is composed, gentle, and very gentlemanly outside of work. I guess that's what they call gap moe.
One day after they got together, Assistant Officer-sama heard this and said, "...Huh?"
[Reading Guide]
* A fluffy, low-stakes slice-of-life romance. This is the love story from the one next door, but you should be able to enjoy this without reading that one.
* Probably a short story. It won't be paid, and updates may be irregular. I'll post when it's ready.
* OOC warning. Tons of headcanons. If you want to drop it, just do so without telling me.
* Enjoy!
Theme: Live in the present and leave no regrets.
I can understand that the author stopped writing because of the influence of Conan, but this book can ignore Conan and write about the assistant officer. I really want to continue reading [picking my head] [lying flat] but if there is really no way to continue writing, it doesn't matter. I'm not interested in it anyway, and I'm in the best mood. I just want to ask, if there is something accurate, do you still write it? 🥺
When will it be updated O_o (T^T)
In 2026, I am very moved to still see Monthly Girls and Ghost Light. I feel that the people in Monthly Magazine are so off-line that I will be complained about by Ghost Light.
The cover is cute [calico cat head] but the snapdragon mouth always makes me hallucinate a duck mouth 😂
