The adorable little paw rested on his shoe. Shen Moyan picked the cat up and tucked it into his pocket.

"Meow! Did someone just pick me up?"

Leqi: "Meow! Cat treats, canned food, and cat food!"

Shen Moyan: "I don't have any."

Leqi was so startled that its fur stood on end. W-what was going on? Its human could actually understand it!

After finding a home, Leqi lived a carefree life. Whenever Shen Moyan came back from the set, he always brought it some interesting new trinket.

Leqi loved playing dodgeball and using the sofa fabric as a scratching post. It didn't care whether Shen Moyan understood human speech.

Until one day, Shen Moyan woke up to find a person beside him, complete with cat ears and a tail.

Leqi: "Human, are you surprised?"

Shen Moyan: "Get down. We can't sleep together anymore."

Leqi: "Then if I turn back into a cat, can we sleep together?"

Shen Moyan: "..."

Winter was cold. Who cared...

Holding Leqi was so comfortable. It was basically a fully automatic, cat-shaped space heater. This was the life!

The System had had its eye on Leqi for a long time, but only bound itself to it when it was down on its luck.

Leqi: "Meow! Am I naturally lucky?"

System: "I'm the 'Cat-to-Human' System. I'm here to help you become human."

Leqi: "Meow, what are the perks of becoming human?"

System: "Looks like you've forgotten everything."

Leqi: "Meow! System, what did I forget?"

System: "Bye! Figure it out yourself!"

Leqi: "Hey, wait a minute! Why can Shen Moyan understand cat speech?"

System: "Insufficient system permissions. Shutting down."

Leqi: "..."

Leqi was the stray cat Shen Moyan had taken in.

After turning human, it was adorable, with a long tail. Its fur was white all over, except for the long, thin black stripe of its tail.

Leqi's tail curled around his waist as it wiggled its little cat ears and lounged contentedly in bed.

Leqi: "Human, are you going hunting? I can provide for you!"

Shen Moyan: "Are you planning to perform at a cat cafe? The kind that pays 500 a day?"

Leqi shook its head coquettishly. "Meow! I can do lots of things!"

Shen Moyan: "Can I touch your tail?"

Leqi: "No! If you touch it, you'll have to take responsibility!"
