I Adopted a Secondhand Villain [Interstellar]

Wu Yue needs a helper.

Her requirements are simple: obedient, capable, able to fight, and preferably cheap.

"What about this one?"

"Oh, you've got a great eye, customer! This is a rare cultivated specimen from the Sherwood Base, an A-rank alien. It's gentle and clever, and will be a huge help in both combat and daily life!"

"And this one?"

"I knew you had excellent taste the moment I saw you! This one is great value for money, too. A wild B-rank alien caught by an interstellar mercenary on planet NS422. He's still a little disobedient, but he's a real powerhouse in a fight!"

"Then what is this one?"

"Oh, that one's a defective unit we've discontinued. He was a fine specimen originally, but one of his horns broke off during shipping. He's damaged goods, and he's been returned and complained about twice. We couldn't even find anyone to adopt him, so we were about to dispose of him."

Inside the rusty, bloodstained iron cage, the half-humanoid alien labeled defective opened his eyes.

His crimson eyes beneath his black hair were coolly narrowed, sharp and beautiful.

"I'll take him."

*The retired former queenpin heroine x the strong, beautiful, tragic former villain hero. A Hurt/Comfort romance.

*The hero is not human. Not human. Not human. He will never become human, either.

*The heroine will take revenge for the hero.

*That's about it. I'm writing this to indulge my tastes.
