In 1921, Mu Xuanying arrived here, full of passion and patriotic fervor, and joined the underground Communist Party.

Upright and resolute, he swore to devote his life to saving his country and its people, unafraid even to give his life for the cause.

That is, until he met Mo Yu, his childhood friend whom he hadn't seen in years.

Mo Yu was the young master of a military clique in the city, a man who walked the line between good and evil.

This is a fictional story set in the Republican era. The author's knowledge of history is practically zero, so please point out any errors, but go easy on me.
