Listen to the Sea's Song from That Year [Rekindled Love]

Lian Di has a neighbor named Wen Shi, but he likes to call her Ling Yang. That was her old name, and on this island, he was the only person besides her family who knew it.

They used to run together along the soft white beach with the sea breeze at their backs, and head home together beneath the magnificent sunset. They spent countless days like that in childhood, until an accident quietly changed the course of both their lives once more. Years later, when they met again, they listened to the familiar-sounding waves on that same stretch of shore.

"Lian Di, didn't you once say you never wanted to hear my voice again? Then why aren't you the only one trapped in the past? Why am I there, too?"

"Because my shadow is always behind me, especially when the sun is shining."

I'm terrible at writing blurbs, so this is what I've got for now. I'll revise it if I come up with something better. A childhood-sweethearts, reunion-after-years-apart, and second-chance romance.
