Shingu Rina, female, currently 11 years old, is a magical girl who goes to bed at midnight and wakes up at midnight.
In her previous life, she was hit by a truck and sent to another world while saving someone. The moment she opened her eyes, a pink ball of light rushed into her body, shouting about love and miracles.
Following her lazy principle that helping one person is just as much work as helping a whole group, she somehow became the kind of "saint" figure the original characters talk about.
What, a saint? Me? The person who can smack someone five kilometers away with a magic wand?
Although this world is a jumble of gods, monsters, ghosts, and all sorts of creatures, with giant swords of every color appearing overhead from time to time, and doors that might open onto another world's cafeteria. You could even fall into some random world by taking one extra step on the street...
None of that stops Shingu Rina from walking to school and back on time with her redheaded childhood friend.
On the first day she learns that the elementary school she's about to transfer to is called Seiyo Academy, she swears to put a Guardian Cloak on her childhood friend, the future Red King, and then shout, "My heart, unlock!"
She'll treasure that video for the rest of her life.
At the end of the story, the girl who proclaims the power of love and miracles saves the world once again. This time, however, her friends are by her side. The world is saved, but her troubles remain unsolved.
Shingu Rina, magical girl by profession, still has one great worry: how to get her friends to willingly experience a magical girl transformation for themselves.
Is it really so unreasonable to shout a spell in public and then put on a princess dress? She even lets them choose the color. Why is everyone so against it?
Blurb drafted on November 5, 2025.
■ Before you read:
1. OOC warning. The male lead is the redheaded childhood friend mentioned above. There are so few scenes of him as a child, practically none (sob), so I've made a mountain of headcanons and will try my best to keep him in character.
2. One-on-one childhood friends romance. All other characters appear in a platonic capacity, though they will be subjected to some teasing and torment, including, but not limited to, the magical girl transformations mentioned in the blurb.
3. The story starts in elementary school, with some time skips in between. The romance only officially begins once they're adults.
4. At its heart, this is a lighthearted, slow-burn, comedic slice-of-life story. The logic is dead, so just have fun with it. If it makes you laugh out loud, that would be the greatest honor I could hope for.
Theme: Love is the most powerful force in the world.
