Cellar Bunker: It's Only Reasonable for a Temp to Be a Little Stronger

When He Yue opened her eyes, she found herself trapped in a cellar survival game.

The electronic screen flickered: Complete quests to earn points for supplies and upgrade your safe house.

[Beginner quest: Find the repairman Sang Qi and fix the cellar's ventilation shaft]

I have to find a repairman for that?

He Yue climbed up the constantly wobbling ladder and, after some tinkering, fixed the ventilation shaft herself. She even secured the ladder while she was at it.

Normal quests, high-difficulty quests, bizarre quests...

One quest after another appeared. He Yue rolled up her sleeves and got to work. What a coincidence, she could do them all as a temp!

He Yue's safe house grew more and more comfortable, while the nearby NPCs grew more and more agitated.

"I'm still one short of my quota this month!"

"Which damned newbie can't even find my shop?"

"Raise the prices! We have to raise them!"

Only when the "Better and Better Power-Leveling Shack" grew famous did the NPCs finally panic. Raise prices? What the heck! They were about to be driven out of work!

Which damned max-level player was stealing even the jobs meant for beginner-village NPCs?

When a new batch of survivors arrived, returning customers brought the newcomers to knock on He Yue's safe-house door.

The newcomer hesitated. "Do you have anything like..."

He Yue: "Yes!"

The newcomer hadn't even finished saying what they wanted to buy. "Oh, okay. And my beginner quest is really hard. It's..."

He Yue: "I can carry you!"

Still dazed, the newcomer bought some goods and got a team-up ticket. Then they hesitantly asked, "Um, there's something else of mine that's broken. I wanted to ask..."

He Yue: "I can fix it!"

After clearing the dungeon without a hitch, the newcomer stared in disbelief. "An-jie, didn't you say the person you knew was a temp?"

Lin Anyi nodded reverently. "Yeah. Yue-jie said it's normal for temps to be a little stronger. That's just how temps are."

Newcomer: A little? More like a whole lot!

Newcomer: I want to be a temp too, qaq.
