Wen Qianmeng had always known that her fiancé’s older brother, Li family head Li Yan, didn’t like her.

She dealt with this legendary, powerful figure at his younger brother’s funeral. Their two brief encounters changed their relationship into something else entirely.

After that, Wen Qianmeng always felt a scorching gaze fixed on her from the shadows, fiercely possessive.

They grew closer on a pitch-black, rainy night. He was the only refuge she had in the damp darkness.

The young woman shivered at the doorway. When she looked up at him, her reddened eyes glistened with tears, and she rasped out, “Gege.”

Li Yan looked down at her coldly, just as he always did, with that superior air. Then, expressionless, he closed the door… As Wen Qianmeng drifted in and out of consciousness, she felt someone hold her firmly in his arms and restrain her.

“Keep moving, and I’ll have to find another way to give you this medicine.”

His cool voice reached her ears. Wen Qianmeng came to her senses at once. Remembering how the man dealt with people, her body trembled uncontrollably.

His half-brother’s fiancée, Wen Qianmeng, was gentle and amiable, like an innocent, kind little rabbit. Only Li Yan knew that in bed, this rabbit was a scratching little cat.

When everything fell apart, Wen Qianmeng was horrified to realize that the true hunter had entered the game long ago, and that hunters often appeared in the guise of prey.

#Everyone entered the game with their own bargaining chips, but the whole scheme was Li Yan’s long-planned plot to steal the woman he wanted.#
