Mingze No. 1 High School is an international school built by all the major conglomerates on Mingze Island.
The campus has a strict hierarchy. The main tower is open only to the core heirs of the wealthy families, and the school's rules are set by the most powerful family of all, the NS Consortium.
On the surface, it promotes "elite education," but in reality it is an extension of the conglomerates' power. The heirs imitate their elders by controlling resources, turning the campus into a jungle where the strong prey on the weak.
Zheng Yian is one of the core heirs living in the main tower. Thanks to his kind, humble, and ambitious nature, everyone praises him as a "model student."
But beneath that radiant exterior, he has a secret he cannot tell anyone: he likes boys.
Born into a powerful family, Zheng Yian knows that if he comes out, he will fall into the mud in an instant and may even lose his place as heir.
He forces himself to keep his feelings hidden, but in the summer of his sixteenth year, he comes down with a disease called "Jin Xianyu."
For as long as this unrequited love lasts, he cannot keep his composure. He can only express his love in a meek, obsequious way, while doing everything he can to hide it.
And so he becomes the top-ranking Jin Xianyu's loyal dog, summoned whenever he is wanted and dismissed whenever he is not.
The days drift by in a daze, until two transfer students arrive.
One is a specially selected student. The other is a complete mystery, aside from the fact that his name is "Jiang Yiqing."
Jin Xianyu seems to have developed feelings for that specially selected student. He keeps going to the affiliated hospital, and even gets into a huge fight with Zheng Yian over that boy.
As if fate were not cruel enough, Jin's father is set up by the NS Consortium, and the Jin Group eventually declares bankruptcy.
The rumors that had previously been suppressed spread like wildfire. The former top dog in the main tower becomes a disgusting homosexual in everyone's eyes.
Zheng Yian assesses the situation and cuts all ties with Jin Xianyu.
Compared to acceptance and redemption, his love is timid and full of calculation.
Later, transfer student Jiang Yiqing's true identity is revealed, and he is embraced as the new top dog. Zheng Yian repeats his old tricks, doing everything he can to get close to him.
Perhaps the pleas in his heart are so earnest that the gods answer them. Before long, Zheng Yian gets his wish and becomes Jiang Yiqing's good friend.
But the worst part is that the person in his erotic dreams changes, too.
He does not dare to let it show, though. He can only pretend nothing has happened and keep spending every day with Jiang Yiqing as before.
Until one day, he stumbles upon Jiang Yiqing's secret.
The once composed and calm darling of heaven keeps murmuring "An'an," his hand moving without pause, his face flushed.
Zheng Yian is horrified. As he tries to flee, he panics and makes too much noise, giving himself away.
Jiang Yiqing pins him fiercely against the wall and grips him by the waist. A devilish whisper comes at his ear: "An, what are we going to do? You've found out my biggest secret..."
Zheng Yian blurts out, "I-I'll keep it secret."
Jiang Yiqing says nothing. His eyes, still moist with desire, simply keep staring at him.
After a long moment, he coaxes softly, "Then will you become my accomplice in keeping this secret, An'an?"
Perhaps afraid the boy will refuse, he adds, "It'll be fun."
Meeting his dark gaze, Zheng Yian is inexplicably reminded of the "Mingze No. 1 High School Survival Rules" he once read. One rule is an unmistakable warning: Never refuse any request from the top dog.
Later, Zheng Yian is left covered in bite marks and hickeys, while Jiang Yiqing, in the dominant position, looks at his handiwork and trembles with excitement.
He pulls the person who lets him do whatever he wants into his arms, buries his face in the other's neck, and murmurs in a husky, enticing voice, "I love our An'an so much..."

1. If you are strongly attached to one particular lead, feel free to move along. I love both the top and the bottom, and you don't need to tell me if you drop the story.
2. My writing is amateurish, and I'm writing this for myself while still working on my pacing.
3. The setting is similar to a Korean high school, but the world is entirely fictional, with lots of original worldbuilding. It may get melodramatic, since the bottom is a heartthrob.
4. Neither lead is a conventionally good person. They have little sense of morality, and the top is seriously such a badass!
5. No dating before adulthood. It's all tension and flirtation until then (no underage romance ×).
(But, babies, just imagine how intense it'll be when the top finally gets some after being kept waiting so long.)
6. This is a story about putting on an act. Just enjoy it for fun.
