[Western Crossover] The System Set Me Up!

Oren died, then got bound to a System. He had to complete missions to stay alive.

The System said he could draw one golden finger each week. Its collection included things like "super rich," "super smart," and "super cute." Nova drew one with great anticipation: "Super Animal."

Super Animal? What does that mean?

System: It means you'll turn into an incredibly powerful animal.

Oren: Sounds pretty good, I guess. (rubs chin)

System: Great! Off you go, Super Animal!

Oren (after landing): (sees himself in the mirror, transformed into a dung beetle...) System, get out here. I promise I won't beat you to death.

System: The ancient Egyptian god of dung! You tell me, is that super or not?

Oren: Get lost!

A Reader's Guide

1. The OOC is mine, the glory belongs to the superheroes.

2. Lighthearted, everyday comedy with Wayne family adventure vibes. Everyone's intelligence is lowered. This is a let-loose work that will offend everyone equally, so don't read if that's not your thing.

3. This story used to be called A Little Short-Drama Shock for Gotham. I may still write that story (or maybe not), but it'll only be one of the "superpowers," perhaps the "Super Novelist" card (shen...).

4. I'll add more if I think of anything.

Theme: Be an optimistic person.
