Though Yu Enchu awakened an ability, it was the most common one: healing.

At the entrance ceremony of the Ability Academy, Yu Enchu smiled silently in the face of a noble's provocation, supporting the entire team on his own. Wherever he went, no one was left injured.

Offers came pouring in. Yu Enchu politely turned them down to their faces, then switched identities and struck deals with all the different families, making a fortune.

But word of it reached his current employer, Qin Shubai, the only son of the Qin family, foremost among the four great noble houses.

That night, Qin Shubai stopped him outside the dormitory, his expression indifferent as he looked down at him.

"Wasn't what I gave you enough?"

Yu Enchu ran a hand over the hand gripping his throat. His foxlike eyes were captivating. "But I want more."

Everyone knew Yu Enchu had attached himself to the Qin family. The commoners cursed him, and the nobles mocked him.

Yu Enchu paid them no mind. He accompanied Qin Shubai to one high-profile event after another, until the nobles had grown used to seeing him. Then he turned the upper city upside down, took all the money he'd made over the past few years, and disappeared without a word.

Before leaving, he made sure to leave Qin Shubai a note:

[As an employer, you're barely acceptable. As a lover, I'm returning you.]

When they met again, Yu Enchu had become a thorn in the side of every noble, while Qin Shubai had taken over the family business.

Separated by a negotiating table, the two acted like strangers, as if they'd never known each other.

Yu Enchu secretly breathed a sigh of relief, assuming Qin Shubai had grown older and was no longer as petty as before.

But just after he left the conference room, he was dragged into a corner.

A familiar presence drew close. The man holding his shoulders and neck narrowed his phoenix eyes, his thumb brushing over Yu Enchu's lips. His low, husky voice was steeped in anger.

"You don't want to be my lover?"

"Then how about being the lady of the house?"

Handsome top, beautiful bottom; abilities, bitter love, and a story about nobles and commoners.

Important note (!): This is an indulgence project. The bottom is the sort of character people both love and hate. The only two things I can guarantee are that both leads are physically and emotionally faithful to each other (physically refers to kissing and, well, that) and that they are both strong.
