In less than half an hour, word that You Shi had gotten in through the back door spread throughout the team. The one most displeased was the team captain, Wen Xingzang.
Wen Xingzang pushed open the team room door with a sour expression and found the coach assessing the rookie's skill level.
Using cover, then firing off a crisp, precise quick-scope, You Shi seemed pretty capable. Leaning against the doorframe to watch, Wen Xingzang thought, He's got some skill...
Before he could finish praising him, You Shi pulled a grenade... and threw it at his own feet.
Wen Xingzang's expression turned icy. "Hah. Did they bring him in to put on a show of blowing himself up?"
So Wen Xingzang used his veto to keep You Shi out of the matches.
The club worried about offending the higher-ups, so, under the pretext of team practice, they coaxed You Shi into livestreaming with the other players.
As it turned out, in his very first livestream You Shi pulled off a "triple rampage" with his soft, cute face and gained a hundred thousand followers.
Unconvinced, Wen Xingzang joined You Shi's stream.
He watched as You Shi delivered one disastrous play after another: driving into a wall, accidentally firing his sniper rifle, and setting himself on fire with a Molotov.
Wen Xingzang sneered. "Great. You can be a pretty-face streamer."
You Shi pressed his lips together, looking wronged, and said nothing.
After seeing this happen again and again, Wen Xingzang discovered a bug.
When he wasn't around, You Shi's mechanics were top-tier. As soon as he showed up, it was like someone else had taken over You Shi's body.
Wen Xingzang had a thought: Was You Shi afraid of him?
Finally, with the club's help, You Shi gradually got used to Wen Xingzang showing up.
During one livestream, You Shi set up his sniper rifle on a rooftop, pinpointed an enemy by sound, and landed a quick-scope shot to win the chicken dinner.
He pressed his lips together, then finally worked up the courage to ask in a soft voice, "Was I awesome?"
Wen Xingzang casually nodded, deliberately teasing him. "Yeah. A snail."
You Shi gave a small huff and sulked.
The streamer's mom-fans rushed to his defense.

· The early chapters focus more on livestreaming. Once the shou is accepted into ASK, the story will mainly focus on competitions.
