Don't You Dare Make This Fake Romance Real

On a lukewarm idol survival show, Jiang Xinjie and Hao Xinwei were on the verge of elimination when they unexpectedly caught the attention of online shipping fans. Overnight, the situation turned around. The “Heart to Heart” ship took the internet by storm, and the show’s popularity rose along with it.

From then on, the show’s producers racked their brains to teach Jiang Xinjie and Hao Xinwei how to act like a couple on camera.

Hao Xinwei was disdainful: A straight guy teaching another straight guy to act like a couple? Ha, who’d find that funny?

Who’d find it funny?

As it turned out, the ship’s fans were the ones dying of laughter.

For the rest of the survival show, Jiang Xinjie went into overdrive. The ship’s fans were practically steeping in sweetness, repeatedly and tirelessly flooding the screen with comments: Thanks for the sugar, Jiang Xinjie!!! Heart to Heart forever!!! Xinwei and Xinjie, never say goodbye!!! No bed, no getting up!!! Go, go, go!!!
