Jiang Nian awakened just as his identity as a fake young master was exposed. He had been one of the four most pampered Omegas at an elite academy, but it turned out he was a bottom-tier Beta, even worse off than a scholarship student.

And his world was a melodramatic novel about a beloved student at an aristocratic academy.

System: "In the original story, you resent the true young master protagonist for taking everything from you. To spite him, you openly fawn over F1, throw yourself at F2, seduce F3, and steal F4's wedding. You're a stupid, wicked villainous side character in a beloved-protagonist novel, and you end up dying a horrible death. I'm the only one who can save you."

Jiang Nian blinked adorably O.o: Am I really a villain, even though I'm this pretty?

According to the original plot, he was supposed to drug the protagonist and F2 in a locked room, then spread rumors that they were having an improper relationship.

But when the door opened, F2 had somehow turned into F1.

The Alpha, in the middle of his rut, pinched Jiang Nian's cheeks, touched and kissed him, then bit his gland. Terrified, Jiang Nian accidentally knocked over the knockout drug and, with a gulp, fell into a baby-like sleep before the protagonist did.

The System felt like the sky was falling.

Jiang Nian was an idiot, but devastatingly beautiful.

To stay alive, he worked diligently. Need brains? He had a pretty face. Need courage? He had a pretty face. He obeyed the System and dutifully followed the plot to earn villain points, and finally lived up to everyone's expectations...

By derailing the plot:

In the misty locker room of the gym, F1's voice was hoarse as he gripped Jiang Nian's slender waist and pinned him in a corner. "I was the first to mark you. You'll never be able to push me away in this life."

In the empty dean's office, F2 stroked his youthful, rosy lips. "Stop being F1's puppy. Be mine instead, okay?"

In the dead of night in the royal palace's rear hall, F3 quietly opened his bedroom door and crept onto his bed. "Sister-in-law, open up. It's me, your brother-in-law."

In a solemn, sacred church, the new F4 crumpled the hem of his short lace skirt. "What do those books know? I know something much more profound. Want to try?"

Even the protagonist began looking at him strangely. Jiang Nian even found a long-lost, damp white sock of his, one that smelled strangely, tucked inside the protagonist's pillow...

As the plot hurtled further and further toward the unspeakable, the System tried everything to protect its precious cabbage.

Who knew that before long, it would accidentally raise him into the most formidable little villain in the transmigration bureau's rankings?

Rheinstadt Academy: written as an aristocratic academy, read as a breeding ground for the entitled elite.

As the most famous old-established school in the A Empire, the academy inherited the tradition of respecting Alphas, honoring Omegas, and treating Betas as inferior. To outsiders, it was a cradle for royal and noble elites, a utopia where scholarship students could change their fate. Inside, it was a suffocating world of rigid hierarchy, a battlefield of open and covert struggles.

No one here was harmless. Whether they were highborn Alphas or seemingly kind scholarship students, everyone had their own agenda. Power and wealth were the ultimate passports.

There was only one exception.

A beauty raised in pampered comfort, like a pristine, delicate pearl inside an oyster shell, he knew nothing of the world's cruelty and regarded everyone with innocent, clear eyes.

And when the shell finally broke, all the hidden resentment, forbidden longing, and desires buried in dark corners stirred restlessly. They crowded around, yearning to seize and defile that budding moon, which was destined to belong to no one.

Reading guide:

All characters are adults by author's setting. The love interests have no romantic relationships with one another.

Before awakening, the protagonist's role as F1's devoted admirer is plot possession. He himself is not in love with F1.

Handsome love interests and a beautiful protagonist. Everyone has unrequited feelings for him. There is a brief Omega-differentiation arc later on, but no children.

The protagonist is not intellectually disabled. He's an inexperienced, slow-witted idiot, occasionally clever, and beautiful, beautiful, beautiful above all else.

The love interests are split personalities, split into tiny fragments. They're awful at first, then go through all sorts of dramatic, large-scale realizations that they were wrong. The main story has temporary one-on-one pairings at different stages, and the extras are one-on-one.

Written for personal tastes: a big bowl of old-school, melodramatic, brainless wish fulfillment, with an intense amount of possessiveness, angst, and forum-style chapters. If that's not your thing, please don't read. Orz

Both leads are each other's first. A love interest who isn't a virgin doesn't deserve a place at the table. The setting and worldbuilding are original and have nothing to do with reality.
