Working on the Grand Line is a dangerous business every single day. Daisy works as a sales assistant in a clothing store, and pirates and Marines are always dashing around outside. She has gone from being terrified at first to taking it all in stride.
But even getting used to it has become boring.
By chance, she spots an advertisement pasted up by the roadside.

With the attitude that she had no money anyway, so they couldn't cheat her out of anything, Daisy called the Den Den Mushi and signed up.
The production team readily agreed and promised to pick her up early the next morning.
The next morning, Daisy gets up and is about to make herself presentable before her ride arrives when, without warning, she plunges straight into the sea.
By the time she finally manages to scramble out of the water, she finds herself stranded on a deserted island.
Daisy: "..."
Is this how it's supposed to work?
She opens the starter supply box and gets the beginner's gift pack. Suddenly, a screen appears in the air.
[Welcome to our wilderness survival show! This program will be livestreamed 24 hours a day. Please survive the first three days. If anyone signs up for the show within those three days, we will select one person at random to become your partner for a week of survival. The same goes for every week afterward: whenever someone signs up, a new buddy will come keep you company. You'll never be lonely!]
Daisy stands barefoot on the beach in cartoon pajamas, leaning on a stick as she watches the words on the screen disappear, replaced by a close-up of her own face. The camera pulls back, showing her the entire island, as comments begin floating across the top of the screen.
Daisy looks distressed. "Can I still withdraw my application?"
After a difficult three days of survival, Daisy decides that no one else could possibly be stupid enough to sign up for this show. But to her surprise, on the fourth day, a freckle-faced buddy arrives, bringing a food supply.
Her buddy is incredibly capable. With him around, Daisy barely has to go hungry.
After he leaves, Daisy prays beneath the starry night sky for another reliable partner.
The next day, it seems like Heaven misunderstood her wish. She asked for someone reliable, not someone who would treat her like a servant.
Watching Doflamingo sit there like a lord, ordering her to start a fire, she wants nothing more than to smash him over the head with a mallet...
