After Yin Shuangqing died, an Ascension System took him to ancient times and ordered him to play a genuine immortal in front of all the people of the era. Ascension System: [Host, please play the immortal seriously. Gather Mystery, Wonder, Astonishment, and Showing-Off Points, and shock the imperial court and the people. Gather spiritual energy, restore faith, enlighten all things, and complete the small world's ascension mission. Then you can be resurrected and return.] Yin Shuangqing: I really want to live, but I'm just an ordinary person! How am I supposed to pull this off? Are you sure you haven't made a mistake?! Ascension System: [The System Shop contains everything under heaven, in all its myriad forms. You can use points to buy anything you need.] One day, Yin Shuangqing appeared before a group of people about to be beheaded. Later generations recorded: In the 158th year of the Dazhao reign, an immortal descended. From that day onward, the Golden Age began and the Immortal Dynasty rose again. Yin Shuangqing, an "ordinary person": Just watch how I do this! When people questioned his identity as an immortal, he quickly bought "Golden Light All Around," "Flowers Blooming in Profusion," and "Clear-Eyed and Keen-Eared Pills"! And so, in broad daylight, golden light filled the sky. Flowers bloomed in thick clusters from nowhere, and their sweet fragrance filled the air. Everyone felt refreshed in body and mind. When drought struck the north and floods ravaged the south, he quickly bought "Rain-Calling Art" and "Water-Control Art"! Yin Shuangqing flicked a finger, and rain fell from the sky. Then he waved his hand, and the floodwaters changed course. When spiritual energy was scarce and people knew of immortals but had no idea how to cultivate, he quickly bought "Spirit Flowers and Immortal Plants," "Spiritual Root Detection Crystal," "Complete Compendium of Cultivation Methods," and more... The immortal plants produced spiritual energy, a crystal pillar that reached the heavens appeared in the capital and stood firm, and the immortals' first lectures began. The court and the people alike fell to their knees in astonishment. "This is a divine miracle!" "An immortal, it's an immortal!" "Heaven bless Dazhao! Heaven bless Dazhao!" The shop also listed goods of various grades, including "Immortal Terraces and Pavilions," "The Underworld," "One Hundred Thousand Ghost Soldiers," and "Heavenly Soldiers and Generals." It had everything imaginable. You could buy anything at all. Yin Shuangqing rubbed his hands together and thought: Great, let's see if I can't put on the biggest show of all! But as he kept up the act, and the small world successfully ascended, Yin Shuangqing gradually realized he might not be as ordinary as he thought. Even the Ascension System seemed to have another identity... Theme: Only what is supported by reason and evidence is the truth of the world.
