Bringing the Illustrated Guide to the Classic of Mountains and Seas to Life in a Western Fantasy World

[Blurb One] The legendary magical creatures known as Fantastical Beasts have appeared on the continent of Gairolan. Legend has it that Fantastical Beasts have no fixed form until adulthood and can change shape at will. Legend has it that they are vicious and cunning, and can swallow humans and magical beasts whole. Legend has it that Fantastical Beasts... In short, not a single legend has anything good to say about them. Yet when the races of Gairolan meet a Fantastical Beast cub, soft and squishy all over but constantly trying to pick fights with them (to test their stats), they all think: ...Legends really can't be trusted. Ji Aixi: "Awooo~~" The cub raises his tiny fists. Charge! The races of Gairolan: Never mind, let's play with him for a while... [Blurb Two] Eighteen-year-old genius painter Ji Aixi passed away with regrets after leaving behind a volume of fantastical illustrations of the Classic of Mountains and Seas. But he was chosen by a pay-to-win System and reborn on the continent of Gairolan. Rebirth came at a price: he had to complete the missions issued by the System to regain his human body. Mission: Unlock the Classic of Mountains and Seas entries already recorded in the System, and complete the entries for the wondrous species of this Western fantasy world that have not yet been recorded. Before he regains his human body, Ji Aixi must spend money in time to change into Classic of Mountains and Seas skins. The pay-to-win System has monthly targets to meet, and the money comes from collecting various data on wondrous species in the Western fantasy world, such as appearance, stamina, and magic power. But when the pay-to-win System brought Ji Aixi to the continent of Gairolan, something went a little wrong. Faced with a Host whose mind had regressed and whose memories were missing, the pay-to-win System thought: ...Oh no, we're doomed. At first, the pay-to-win System: Waaaah, this is so unfair! Now I even have to use my secret stash to buy the Host skins. Later, the pay-to-win System: Waaaah... Oh, whatever. The Host is so cute, I'll buy him another set of skins. Finally, the pay-to-win System: Aaaah, my baby! I'll buy you everything, even if I have to spend every last penny I own! [Reader's Guide] 1.
