The Young Master and the Little Chick

A promising little chicken who chatters a mile a minute x a cool young master who's gentle, gentle, gentle

Lin Chunqu is a country boy who comes to the city to find his relatives, and ends up with a young master worth over a hundred million.

Everyone says he's one lucky little rascal, and he thinks so too!

His relatives are great in every way. They buy him clothes, snacks, and little chicks! They even kiss him now and then to show how much they like him!

If they weren't his relatives, he'd probably fall for the young master.

Huh? You're saying you're not actually related?

Young Master Ji Qiulai stops him from rolling up his bedding and asks, "Didn't you say you liked me?"

Lin Chunqu clutches his bedding and refuses to let go, eyes brimming with tears. "Well, who knew you weren't really my relative? I'm going back to the village."

Later, he cries even harder. "Ji Qiulai, I... I can't eat any more."

Ji Qiulai just leans close to his ear and chuckles. "Our little chick is very good at cooking, right?"

Lin Chunqu's little face turns bright red, and he can't get a word out. What does cooking have to do with that?!

The young master has him completely wrapped around his finger in private, but that doesn't matter!

Out in the world, Lin Chunqu is a real man!

So many food lovers kneel at his feet, begging him to cook them a meal. There's only one person who doesn't: Ji Qiulai.

Lin Chunqu props up his little chin every day, fretting.

He's so capable, so why won't Ji Qiulai let him work?

Ji Qiulai doesn't say a word. After all, whenever their little chick runs into trouble at work, he burrows into Ji Qiulai's arms and cries in secret.

So Ji Qiulai just wonders why a little chick who's already worth over a hundred million still needs to work.
