After I Ran Away While Pregnant with My Brooding Girlfriend's Baby

In high school, Lu Qianying fell in love with Shang Yikou at first sight. After her confession was accepted, they started dating.

At first, everything was sweet. Lu Qianying could feel how much Shang Yikou loved her, so she ignored the many times Shang Yikou said strange things, taking them for the ramblings of a lovestruck person.

Things like: “Qianying is so beautiful, so gorgeous. I want to keep looking at you forever.”

“No one is allowed to hurt you.”

“If only I could lock you away in a world where it was just the two of us.”

It wasn't until the summer after her senior year that Shang Yikou locked her inside a lavish, heavily secured villa that Lu Qianying realized Shang Yikou was a lunatic. All those sweet nothings she'd said had been serious.

Lu Qianying escaped the villa with all her strength, left the city, changed her name and identity, and took a job worlds away from her dreams.

Just when she thought she could start her life over, she discovered she was pregnant. She was seven months along and couldn't have an abortion.

She gave birth to the child alone and raised her. Mother and daughter relied on each other, making a living by running a guesthouse with a partner on a remote island. She thought life would stay peaceful and uneventful forever.

But in the seventh year, she ran into the nightmare of her youth again on the island.

Shang Yikou had become even crazier.

She held the most beautiful rose in the flower garden in her arms and murmured in a voice full of sorrow at having lost and found her again, “I found you, Qianying.”
