After Becoming the Canary of My Rival, Who Ran Off While Pregnant

The Xia and Huo families have been at odds for years. From birth, Xia Zheng was taught that he had to beat the young master of the Huo family.

He competed with Huo Shen over grades, careers, and who could find the prettier Omega.

After twenty years of rivalry, Xia Zheng finally managed to win once, only for his triumph to turn to tragedy: he died.

Five years after his death, Xia Zheng's ghost drifts over Hong Kong, watching Huo Shen ruin the Xia family and kill off his relatives one by one. He grits his teeth in hatred.

Then he comes back to life, transformed into an Omega as beautiful as a parasitic vine.

Just thinking about this Omega makes Xia Zheng grin from ear to ear.

From up in the sky, he'd seen everything clearly. Huo Shen was always cold and ruthless, except toward this Omega. The first time they met, Huo Shen took him by force, saying they were only making a deal while doting on him in every way with his actions.

Who knew the Omega would still run away? And not only that: Xia Zheng's gaze drops to a soft, chubby little boy clutching him and calling him Daddy.

Xia Zheng puffs out his chest, brimming with pride. This time, he's going to win big!

Xia Zheng shows up at Victoria Harbour with the little one in his arms, waiting for Huo Shen to come chasing after him. But the man shows no reaction at all. Impatient, Xia Zheng has no choice but to set up a chance encounter with Huo Shen, planning to crush his nemesis and seize all of the Huo family's assets.

But on the very first night after they reunite, Huo Shen pins him beneath him. The Alpha's icy scent surges over him, leaving Xia Zheng dizzy.

The usually aloof man has red-rimmed eyes, his hand holding Xia Zheng's trembling faintly.

Xia Zheng is delighted. At last, he's found Huo Shen's weakness. The day the Huo family falls is just around the corner, hee hee!

Then, the next moment, he seems to hear Huo Shen call him: "A-Zheng."

Xia Zheng: Is something not quite right?

Let's listen again.

…That hurts! If he listens any longer, he'll get marked!
