What Should I Do About My Ex Showing Off Every Day?

Chu Tang has been getting inexplicable texts from her ex lately.

Xu Lingzhi: [I accidentally bought you a concert ticket.]

Xu Lingzhi: [I accidentally used your information to sign up for a tour group.]

Xu Lingzhi: [I also accidentally booked the wrong plane ticket.]

Believing that you'd be a fool to turn down a good deal, Chu Tang dresses to impress and heads out, only to discover that...

The seat next to hers at the concert is his.

The seat next to hers on the plane is his too.

That's right, he's also the only other person on the tour.

When asked why she broke up with her ex, Chu Tang's answer is: He was poor.

They first met at a concert, where he was the drummer for her favorite singer.

The next time they met, she got into the taxi he was driving.

The third time, he was running a street stall outside her office.

He had it rough, working several jobs. The reason was a broken family and a heartless father.

Years of following the news had taught her that she shouldn't marry a man like that. It never ends well.

So when Chu Tang repeatedly got messages from Xu Lingzhi about tickets he'd bought by mistake, she told him sternly, "You work hard for your money. You shouldn't waste it."

He didn't take her seriously. Before long, he was greeting her from a Koenigsegg, Gucci sunglasses off, Rolex on his wrist.

Chu Tang was close to tears.

Oh no. Not only was this man poor, he was also vain.
