A New York Prodigy from the East [Period]

Tong Zhuoyue, a country girl from a small town in northern Anhui, decides to go to New York alone to find her father.

Her biological father was once a member of an international inspection team during China's reform and opening up. He later returned to America to do business, and is said to be worth a fortune and now the richest man in New York.

Tong Zhuoyue figures that if she can cling to her billionaire father's coattails, she won't have to worry about the rest of her life.

Who could have guessed that her father had remarried a distinguished young lady from an old-money family and already had a pair of exceptional children? He has a happy family and a blissful marriage, and refuses to acknowledge her.

Sigh. She can't just lie flat after all. She'll have to rely on herself.

A few years later, Tong Zhuoyue bursts onto the New York scene and takes the city by storm, earning titles like "Oriental Child Prodigy," "Investment Genius," "Stock Market Guru," and "Media Mogul."
