A Carefree Trip with a Beautiful Snake Demon

From the moment the purple-gold snake came to a realization five hundred years ago until last year, it never believed it could have fallen for a beat-up old pot.

The unlucky little snake grumbled inwardly: Isn't this just a fetish? Is there no law in this world? Who said a cooking ladle could become a spirit?!

But... seeing how full of holes his true form was, the little snake thought it should find some spirit stones to patch him up. After all, he always took such good care of it...

"Except when he caught me for the gambling house!"

"Except when he deliberately scared me, knowing I was a coward!"

"Except when he got lazy and took it out on me!"

The cooking ladle couldn't help talking back:

"Look at how lazy you are! You'd expect me to skin a rabbit, cook the meat, blow on it to cool it, chew it up, and stuff it down your throat for you!"

The little snake blushed and muttered to itself. It decided to find somewhere with nobody around, no monsters or immortals either, and kiss him as a reward, so the cooking ladle would stop complaining.

The cooking ladle sighed helplessly, looking up as it began to anticipate their private moment.

Unfortunately, tonight's lodging was a dilapidated Taoist temple. When night fell, there were eight hundred ghosts inside... all staring at them with their eyes open.

Inspired by the two comedic monsters in Zhang Xiaoyi Goes to Nanjing, this is a spin-off.

A story about a snake who has cultivated for five hundred years and a cooking ladle that gained sentience two hundred years ago, and their clattering, clanging journey to the West.

Aside from Zhang Xiaoyi Goes to Nanjing, this story is not based on any particular research. Don't take the setting too seriously.

The top and bottom positions are undecided.
