Synopsis
After a sandstorm, the ruins of the ancient city of Loulan reappeared. Tang Song's older brother led an expedition there, but when he returned, he seemed like a different person.
He no longer needed to eat or sleep. He kept mechanically repeating what other people said or smiling in a disturbing way, and eventually fell into a deep, unending sleep.
At the hospital, the doctor said he had been dead for a long time, and that...
His heart was on the right side, and all his organs were reversed, as if he were a mirror-image clone of a human.
Just then, Tang Song received a distress message.
It was from his brother. The GPS location showed Ailao Mountain in Yunnan.
*
Everything about it was eerie. Tang Song specifically recruited several people with "special abilities" to form a team and enter Ailao Mountain to rescue his brother.
Among them was a young man from the Miao region named Jiang Yi, who could communicate with animals and control snakes and insects. From his looks to his personality, he was exactly Tang Song's type, and Tang Song really liked him.
Unexpectedly,
when Jiang Yi learned that Tang Song had entered the mountains to rescue another man, his expression darkened.
One rescue team member after another went missing. Tang Song was taken deep into Ailao Mountain and locked in a stilt house.
"You want to save him." Jiang Yi looked down at Tang Song with cold indifference. "Take your clothes off and get on top of me yourself."
*
Later, Tang Song escaped from the remote mountains at last, finally free of that sinister, ghostly young man.
But when he was bathing, he discovered a strange flower tattoo on his wrist, and suddenly understood:
Jiang Yi hadn't come after him because he was certain Tang Song could never truly leave.
#He's been infected with the Love Flower Gu
#He is destined to be entangled with Jiang Yi for the rest of his life
