The team must persuade vengeful spirits to report to the Underworld and accept their punishment. Otherwise, the ferocious beast Taowu will eat them after the time it takes an incense stick to burn.

----[Everyday Life as a Dad]----

Three people, two pillows. Little Taowu and little Panlong each snuggle up against one of Gu Nanzhi's arms.

You scoot closer, then I scoot even closer, until Gu Nanzhi is nearly squashed into a hamburger patty.

Gu Nanzhi helplessly pushes the two fragrant little "buns" apart, then, when their ears droop, spreads his arms and pulls them into his embrace, one on either side.

The two little ones are overjoyed. They enjoy half of Gu Nanzhi's embrace each, obediently reaching out one tiny paw apiece to hold either side of the book as they listen to a story and fall asleep.

Gu Nanzhi quietly slips out and closes the door, only to be hugged from behind and pinned against it by someone.

"I've been waiting for you. I'm so cold."

A plot-driven ensemble story, with the gong and shou doting on each other. It's so sweet it'll make your teeth ache. In the latter half, they're a family of four with two children: one is a little sourpuss, and the other is a marshmallow baby. Everyone gets a happy ending.

The protagonist's background and a few of the individual stories are rather heartbreaking, but everyday life is lighthearted and humorous, with a small amount of horror.
