The Fake Young Master Still Can't Leave the Industry Today

On Xie Qi's twentieth birthday, the Song family threw a lavish birthday party. But it wasn't for him. It was for the real young master they'd just brought home.

It turned out the whole family knew he was fake. He was the only one who didn't.

The Song family had never truly cared for him. They raised him only to take the blows meant for their real son.

When Xie Qi learned the truth, he wasn't heartbroken or upset. He was overjoyed at the chance to cause a scene at the birthday party.

On the day of the party,

the real young master stood at the center of everyone's attention, dressed in a white suit and polished from head to toe.

Xie Qi, wearing a hoodie, casual pants, and Crocs, climbed onto the stage and loudly read his letter of thanks "to his wealthy fake parents":

"Although my fake parents deceived me, they're utterly hypocritical and either beat or scold me, they love their precious son very much. Although my fake parents often treated me poorly, but..."

The whole room erupted.

The Song family was so furious their teeth ached. "What kind of nonsense is he reading? Get this ungrateful, scheming brat off the stage!"

The next day--

News of Xie Qi's birthday-party blowup was trending.

He'd been in the entertainment industry for three years and remained a complete unknown, but this fiasco made him famous.

Bad publicity was still publicity. Opportunities came one after another, and variety shows fought over him, digging up dirt to draw in viewers.

On a lifestyle reality show, he was "a useless guest with all the airs of a young master but none of the privileges."

Off camera--

Xie Qi could do it all: grow vegetables, raise livestock, and cook.

The other guests said, "Turns out I'm the useless one!"

On a dating show, he was "a universally disliked guest with nothing but a pretty face and no social skills."

Off camera--

Guest A: "Want to have dinner together tonight?"

Guest B: "Ever heard of first come, first served? I asked him first!"

The Song family waited for Xie Qi to live a miserable life after leaving, and for his arrogant, rebellious nature to offend some powerful figure. But who could have guessed that a month, a season, and then a year would pass--

and Xie Qi wouldn't be blacklisted or quit the industry. Instead, he grew more and more popular.

[We never knew how charming Xie Qi was. We mistook the real young master for a treasure!]

[We came to dig up dirt on Xie Qi, then accidentally became career fans!]

[Career fans, make room. The Qicheng CP wants a seat at the table too!!!]

Xie Qi: "A CP? What CP? Bring them here. I'll break them up myself!"

Xie Chengjing: "No breaking us up, no switching roles. Not even the stars themselves get an exception."
