The Gu Master and Hiro’s Life Swap

#Chapter Comments Are Now Open

Morofushi Hiromitsu never imagined that something so incredible could really happen: the soul of his seven-years-younger self had switched places with a girl from seven years in the future.

The first time they switched souls, an enormous centipede crawled out of his mouth. He had no idea what was happening and thought it was just a nightmare.

For some reason, as he clung to the toilet and threw up, he couldn't shake the feeling that the centipede was accusing him of something. It was probably just his imagination. This was only a dream.

The second time they switched, he finally understood that this wasn't a dream. He had swapped souls with someone! He left a message for the body's original owner and received a message from her in return.

The third time they switched, he met his future childhood friend. It seemed she was on some kind of mission, working at a cafe under the alias Amuro Tooru.

They recognized each other, using the girl's identity.

Shi Yin is the inheritor of Miaojiang Gu magic. Practicing it cost her the ability to speak. While on her way to the capital for a consultation, an accident sent her to Beika Town, where she became an ordinary resident of the Detective Conan world.

But when it rains, it pours. Just as Shi Yin had finally gotten used to Japanese sign language and raised a new Gu, she suddenly turned into a man she didn't recognize, and time had rewound seven years.

Shi Yin, unable to speak: "..." She was completely fed up. She just hoped she could return to an era with smartphones.

Did she really have to raise Gu again from scratch? That was just too despairing.

The people at the Police Academy were surprised to discover that Morofushi Hiromitsu had started communicating with everyone in sign language. He even replied in sign language when his friend spoke to him.

Worried that his childhood friend had become this way because of what happened when they were young, Furuya Rei: "..." What was this? He said he wasn't himself, but a woman from seven years in the future?

Rei: Good grief, Hiro has split personalities!

After their first soul swap, Shi Yin received a handwritten letter on paper from seven years earlier. It contained only one name: Morofushi Hiromitsu. Shi Yin recognized her own handwriting, but the letter definitely hadn't been written by her.

Gentle, nurturing man X voiceless Gu-raising woman
