[Western Crossover] A Strange Life

[Criminal Minds] Reid BG fanfiction.

There are also several other short Criminal Minds fanfics in this collection. Enjoy!

Reid receives a strange letter asking him to be a pen pal. At first, he assumes it is someone's prank and wants to teach the sender not to do something so dangerous.

But as they keep corresponding day after day, he is astonished to discover that the letters are coming from twelve years in the past!

And the girl writing to him is about to become the serial killer's next victim!

If he doesn't warn her, she'll die.

But if he does... the butterfly effect he sets in motion could destroy the entire world.

Only Reid knows that, for one brief moment, he doesn't care what happens to the world. Let it be destroyed, let anything happen: he is willing to pay any price to keep her alive.

After doing everything he can to help her, Reid nervously discovers that the world seems unchanged.

Except the girl's name has vanished from the list of victims, and... he now has a girlfriend.

Reading notes:

1. This is a short story.

2. The story was inspired by the game Life Is Strange and the Korean drama Signal. My heartfelt thanks to these two wonderful works.

Theme: Love can transcend time
