Qi Ji was a miserable corporate drone, exhausted every day as he tried to figure out how to survive one more day. But one day, when he woke up, he was horrified to discover that he was sitting in the entrance exam hall for his first year of high school.
Around him were classmates whose names he could no longer remember, and in front of him was a math test he couldn't understand at all. His high school crush was sitting on his left, but Qi Ji was now in no mood to admire a handsome young man in his youth.
Cold sweat poured down his face as he tried to read the question in front of him:

What was an even function again?
Qi Ji's vision went dark. He started pressing his philtrum.
Heavens! He'd switched from science to liberal arts in college!
You might as well just kill me!
But then a System suddenly appeared before him:

[Pass the game, and any wish can come true! Fail, and you'll simply return to the life you failed at!]

After a round of censorship bleeps, Qi Ji still chose to surrender.
He could die, but he couldn't let his monthly exam score plummet from 650 to 250! How was losing 400 points any different from dying?!
And so Qi Ji began his life of doing practice problems by day and playing survival games by night, living Early Abandon, Late Suicide.
