1.
Palier, a bird from out of town, arrived in the famed city of Gotham.
On his first day in Gotham, he was mugged.
On his third day in Gotham, he was kidnapped.
On his fifth day in Gotham, he was attacked.
By his tenth day, Palier had finally learned his lesson and decided to try fitting in with the locals.
Taking inspiration from the famous Batman's stage name, he made his grand debut as Pigeon-Man.
As a result, even more people started attacking him.
2.
Palier came to Gotham to find someone.
Gotham: Is this little Bruce, who fell into a well and turned into a teary-eyed cat, the one you're looking for?
Palier: No, but I can raise him.
He tucked a tiny bat under his wing.
Gotham: Is this little Dick, whose parents are dead and who's about to be taken away by those nasty Owls, the one you're looking for?
Palier: No, but I can raise him.
He tucked a little bluebird under his wing.
Gotham: Is this small-town boy who somehow wandered in the one you're looking for?
Palier: No, but I can raise him.
He tucked a little golden retriever under his wing.
Gotham: Is this Jason, who just crawled out of a coffin, the one you're looking for?
Palier: Yes!
He struggled to tuck the dirt-covered Red Hood under his somewhat crowded wing.
3.
One day, Palier lifted his wing.
He stared pensively at the several boys who looked as though they'd been pumped full of fertilizer and grown to two hundred pounds, nothing like the children he'd known.
PS:
1. OOC warning.
2. This is my take on Batman. Batman is the more talkative type, friendly toward the whole Batfamily and unfriendly toward villains, especially the Joker. Please proceed with caution if that bothers you.
3. The protagonist isn't human, so his speech and actions may be rather inhuman too.
4. This uses some Marvel settings, but no Marvel characters appear. The story mostly takes place in the DC universe, or rather, Gotham. Please proceed with caution if that bothers you.
4. I won't be writing the original premise anymore for certain well-known reasons, orz. Feel free to bookmark or drop it as you like.
