Blind protagonist x regent pursuer

The protagonist is weak, and his eyesight will eventually improve enough for him to see vaguely.

The Regent of Great Jing had a terrible reputation.

They called him cruel and lawless, cold and heartless.

When a small sedan carried a bride into the prince's residence, everyone wondered how long the little blind man would survive.

Three days? Five? Half a year?

Su Chun thought he wouldn't live to see eighteen, yet on a snowy winter's day, he was carried into the prince's residence.

There, he was given warm clothes and hot meals, and someone was always by his side, protecting him.

He knew this was his husband, the infamous Regent spoken of throughout the city.

What difference was there between a naive little blind man entering the prince's residence and a lamb walking into a tiger's den?

Watching the little blind man feel his way forward, Wen Mingxu found that, without realizing when it had happened, he had made a little room for him in his heart.

Wen Mingxu thought that once everything was settled, he would send the man away and make sure he never wanted for food or clothing. It was one of the few acts of kindness he could promise.

But Su Chun stumbled straight into his arms. With the soft warmth of a beautiful man in his embrace, Wen Mingxu felt a pang of reluctance.

He changed his mind. A bird that flew high might be free, but danger could lurk there too. A caged bird, on the other hand, could sleep without a worry.

Su Chun had no idea that Wen Mingxu had raised him into a soft and pliant treasure. He only froze for a moment when someone slyly suggested that he bear Wen Mingxu an heir.

The very next moment, the sound of flesh splitting rang out.

Wen Mingxu stood behind Su Chun, smiling ominously.

"If my wife wants to give me an heir, why don't we work at it together?"
