In the latitude and longitude of interpersonal interactions, "relationships" and "interests" are like the two poles of yin and yang. They seem to be opposites but they coexist and grow together, hiding the mystery of the movement of heaven. Looking at nature, the cycle of seasons is a game of warmth and cold, as well as the balance of energy; looking at people, separation and separation are the flow of emotions and the exchange of interests. The real secret of heaven is hidden in the dialectic of "the movement of the opposite way" - ordinary people fear the consequences, while the wise observe the causes. Only by seeing through the essence of this pair of propositions can we achieve perfect wisdom in the human world. 1. The balance of heaven: Relationships are living water, interests are rafts. Laozi said: "Water benefits all things without fighting." The essence of relationships nourishes life like flowing water. A bowl of hot soup handed over by a relative is the embodiment of emotion; a long late-night conversation with a close friend is the resonance of the soul. These seemingly "interestless" connections are actually the most precious energy fields of life - when we are stuck at a trough, it is these relationships that hold up the weight of the fall and anchor us in the temperature of existence in an impermanent world. But if there is no boat or raft on the flowing water, it will be difficult to cross people thousands of miles; if there is no benefit in the relationship, it will also become vain. Profit is not a scourge, but the survival code given by heaven to all things. Ants build nests to avoid wind and rain, and plants and trees face the sun to capture the light from the sky. Human beings' pursuit of resources is as natural as the changing of the seasons. Labor exchange in the workplace is a necessity for survival; value symbiosis in business is the gear of society. The real fallacy does not lie in seeking profit, but in replacing "Tao" with "skills" - those who abandon the fundamentals and pursue the inferior will eventually lose their mind in the whirlpool of interests. 2. The truth of human nature: See sincerity in interests, and cultivate relationships in relationships. There is a "Subtle Bhikshuni Transformation" in the Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang, which depicts the various aspects of human nature under the test of interests. A relationship that is cooked by fire may not withstand the test of poverty; a friendship that is linked to each other is often no match for the slightest shake of interests. The truth of human nature is never a black-and-white moral fable, but is as clear as the Tai Chi diagram hidden in the chaos - pure emotional relationships require the touchstone of interests; pure interest relationships also require emotional glue. Wise men know that true relationships do not need to avoid interests. Confucius traveled around the world, and his disciples followed him around. They had the sentiment of "becoming a teacher for a day" and the utility of "hearing the truth and solving doubts". Hu Xueyan's good business management relied not only on shrewd calculations, but also on the pattern of "win people's hearts first and then make money". Interests are like a mirror, which reflects not only greed, but also mind: Those who are willing to make small profits will achieve great things, and those who are willing to share the cake will achieve great things. This is the advanced law of human game. 3. Wisdom in dealing with the world: grasping the two uses and using the mind to change the situation. The "Book of Changes" talks about "exhausting the principles to exhaust one's nature and life." The highest state of dealing with the world lies in grasping the art of "degree". When dealing with emotional relationships, we need to have the character of Tao Yuanming who "doesn't give up for five buckets of rice" - attaching importance to love but not being trapped by love, protecting righteousness but not being stupid about righteousness. Facing unreasonable requests from relatives and friends, saying "no" gently but firmly does not mean being unkind, but respecting the nature of the relationship; when dealing with interest relationships, one needs to learn from the business sage Tao Zhu Gong's understanding of "get rich and practice virtue" - pursue profits but not be mercenary, compete but do not kill everyone. Sharing resources in the workplace rather than hiding personal possessions, and abiding by contracts in the business rather than making calculations may seem like "suffering a loss", but in fact they are accumulating "relationship currency" for life. In the Internet age, the boundaries between relationships and interests have become more blurred. The "virtual emotions" between short video anchors and fans can be converted into real money, and the "weak ties" in industry communities can bring cross-border opportunities. This is exactly what the Tao Te Ching says: "What is and is not, what is difficult is what is difficult." - When we let go of our obsession with "pure relationships" and do not fall into the paranoia of "interests first," we can find a new survival paradigm between reality and reality: build trust with sincere content, attract the same frequency with professional values, let relationships become the living water of interests, and let interests become the witnesses of relationships. 4. The realm of transcendence: turning games into symbiosis, from calculation to practice. The "flying sky" in the Dunhuang murals, whose clothes are fluttering but never leaving the world, is just like a wise man walking freely between relationships and interests. Low-dimensional people make a choice between the two - either using relationships to kidnap interests, or using interests to trample relationships; high-dimensional people regard this as a symbiotic issue - such as the closed loop of "funding-growth-feedback" in public welfare undertakings, allowing interests to sow and grow branches and leaves of relationships, and allowing the flowers of relationships to bear the fruits of interests. This is not a sophisticated calculation, but the natural flow of life energy: when we take "altruism" as our motivation and "win-win" as our criterion, relationships and interests will form a virtuous cycle, as natural as spring planting and autumn harvest. Looking down from the perspective of heaven, relationships are "yin" and interests are "yang". Only by harmonizing yin and yang can we achieve long-term success. Just like a river needs to be restrained by both sides of the river to flow, moving forward in life requires mutual support of friendship and interests. The real secret of heaven is never to teach us how to "play" with the world, but to awaken our understanding of the essence of life: to see the mercy of heaven in relationships - all encounters are reflections of the soul; to practice the brilliance of humanity in interests - all acquisitions should be carried with warmth and dignity. Throughout our lives, we are learning how to dance with "relationships" and "interests." May you and I be able to do things like fireworks in the world with the heart of a clear breeze and a bright moon, sow sincerity on the fertile soil of emotion, and harvest calmness in the wheat field of interests. In this way, in this bustling world, we can achieve a clear understanding of "seeing a mountain as a mountain": we can see the turbidity of the river, but also know the purity of the source; we can understand the importance of interests, but also keep the lightness of relationships. This is the way to simplicity in life, and it is also the hidden secret of heaven.
