This book is really engaging, I recommend giving it a try. The protagonist does not have a golden finger, and the world view is set relatively well. It's not a messy skin-changing Warhammer story, nor is it the Long Aotian type who pretends to be a pig and eats the tiger. Sometimes the chapters are quite long and sometimes quite short [laughing] It really all depends on the author's mood.
