My Whole Family Scolded Me for Making Money, So I Walked Away

While I was paying Mom's hospital bill, Dad was crying on a livestream.

He said his daughter wouldn't pay a single cent, and his wife was stuck in a hospital bed with only kind strangers to help her.

A coworker sent me the video and asked if the photo of the employee at work was me.

That night, a voice message from Dad appeared in the family group chat.

"Tomorrow, let's have Tangtang apologize first..."

I'd only heard the beginning when he deleted it. Later, the filming notice I received said: Don't go into the payment issue, to avoid upsetting the audience.

They took my money for Mom's care, used my photo to cast me as the villain, and planned to wait until the abuse got to me before persuading me to go back and film a family reconciliation scene.

That day, I left the money I had left in my own account.

Mom's treatment continued as usual. I'm not acting in the next scene.
