They Stole My Name for Eighteen Years. Now I'm Here to Settle the Score

Tang Jianyue went missing at five and didn't return to her biological parents until she was seventeen. She thought the Tang family simply didn't want to raise the fake heiress they'd brought up for years. Later, she discovered that the fake heiress won awards using Tang Jianyue's restoration work; got into the family trust by taking her place as heir; and even bore the name in the family register that was supposed to inherit the ancestors' blessings. Every bit of the Tang family's misfortune had been recorded under Tang Jianyue's name. At twenty-three, during the ancestral rites, her family forced her to kneel behind the fake heiress and sign away her inheritance. In front of everyone, Tang Jianyue tore open the shadow register and pulled out the copper nail bearing her birth name. The next second, every lamp in the ancestral hall went out, and a will sealed away for more than forty years fell out of the wall. The fake heiress's claim to the inheritance crumbled, and the Tang family trust was frozen. Her parents and older brother, who had once told her not to make a fuss about the name on her work, finally knelt outside the Yue Zhao Archive Room. Tang Jianyue didn't look back. "If you want me to open the ancestral hall, first give back every name you stole, without leaving out a single one."
